Privacy.

This policy explains what dietwars.com.au collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

Only what you type into one of our forms. The contestant registration collects your name, contact details, age, state, the camp you would back, your story and your availability. The partnership and contact forms collect your name, contact details, organisation and message. We also record the IP address a submission came from, to stop automated abuse.

What we do not do

We do not run advertising trackers, analytics profiling or third-party marketing pixels on this site. We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We do not add you to a mailing list because you filled in a form.

Why we hold it

Registration details are used to assess casting interest and to contact you about your application. Partnership and contact details are used to answer your enquiry. That is the whole purpose.

Health information

Please do not send us health details through these forms. If casting progresses, any health screening is handled separately and properly, with your consent, by qualified professionals - not through a web form.

How long we keep it

Casting registrations are kept for the current casting period and then deleted. General enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. You can ask us to delete your details at any time through the contact page and we will.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are sent to us by email over an encrypted connection. No system is perfect, but we do not store submissions in a public database and we collect as little as possible in the first place.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ask through the contact page. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy issue you can escalate it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page.
